"TriStar Pictures"

По-късно Сони Пикчърс Ентъртейнмънт възобновява телевизия Тристар като телевизионен продуктов банер през 1991 и започва сътрудничество между Колумбия Тристар Телевижън през 1994 с нейното сестринско телевизионно студио Колумбия Пикчърс Телевижън.

Тристар беше театрален дистрибутор на много филми заснети от Каролко Пикчърс (правата на само един от техните филми, Cliffhanger, са притежание на Тристар).

През лятото на 1998, Сони Пикчърс Ентъртейнмънт обединява Колумбия и Tристар да формират Колумбия Тристар Пикчърс (Колумбия Тристар Ентъртейнмънт инс. или Колумбия Тристар Моушън Пикчърс Груп), но точно като Колумбия Пикчърс Ентъртейнмънт, и двете компании продължават производството и доставката на филми под собствените си имена.
